HF REMOTE BASES
RigPi 4 has been completely rebuilt using the Raspberry Pi Bullseye O/S and Nginx web server. RigPi4 has many new features including a calendar/scheduler which allows multiple users to schedule the use of a selected radio. Clubs using RigPi to provide remote access to a radio will appreciate this feature. I'll provide more details on the new features when version 4 is released..

These commercial surplus mobile radios make great link radios and exciters in analog and digital modes when a fan is used and RF power output is reduced. A DB-25 connector is used to interface to this versatile radio. These radios need specific programming software and cable.
Motorola CDM Series Commercial Radios
These surplus discontinued commercial single band mobile radios come in 10 meter, 6 meter, 2 meter, 220 mhz and 440 mhz versions. With a fan and RF power turned down make great radios for linking and low profile repeaters In both analog and digital modes. A unique 20 pin connector is used for the radio interface.

Congratulations to Rob - VE5AAS for taking a lead experimental role with the SADARA club with ALLSTAR!
The club tonight voted on the successful experiment and create a permanent link and to purchase a ClearNode with a dual band transceiver.
This plug and play device with a companion IOS and Android app will prove very handy for the club.
This system is very powerful due to it having ALLSTAR, ECHOLINK and DVSWITCH.
This will enable hams to connect to the 146.640 repeater through Echolink VE5HRC-R and ALLSTAR.
