SASKWARN is a project initiated by passionate amateur radio operators dedicated to expanding the reach and accessibility of amateur radio communication. We aim to provide reliable and efficient networks for communication enthusiasts to connect, share knowledge, and engage in the exciting world of amateur radio.
Our vision is to create robust and interconnected networks of repeaters, remote bases and Voip links to amateur radio clubs and operators from different regions of Saskatchewan and beyond. By leveraging technology and collaboration, we strive to enhance the amateur radio experience, promote education, and contribute to emergency communication readiness.
Connectivity: Establishing seamless communication links between amateur radio clubs and operators across Saskatchewan and beyond.
We are proud to announce the collaboration between the Parkland Amateur Radio Club and other local Amateur Radio Clubs and individuals as the inaugural partners of SASKWARN. Together, we are laying the foundation for networks that will benefit amateur radio operators and clubs throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.
Whether you’re an experienced amateur radio operator or just starting your journey in the world of ham radio, there’s a place for you in SASKWARN. Join us in building a stronger, more connected amateur radio community in Saskatchewan and beyond.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!

Congratulations to Rob - VE5AAS for taking a lead experimental role with the SADARA club with ALLSTAR!
The club tonight voted on the successful experiment and create a permanent link and to purchase a ClearNode with a dual band transceiver.
This plug and play device with a companion IOS and Android app will prove very handy for the club.
This system is very powerful due to it having ALLSTAR, ECHOLINK and DVSWITCH.
This will enable hams to connect to the 146.640 repeater through Echolink VE5HRC-R and ALLSTAR.
