Portable Operation

This portable set-up shows how using a handheld, tripod and an Arrow Antenna beam is used to access satellites.

Some use the Arrow antennas, Elk antennas and home brew designs.  With the right app or website on a smartphone one can use it to help you track the satellite.

A full duplex dualband handheld is useful.
