Hi All,
The new RigPi-SDR update requires a 64GB SD card. The image is approximately 33GB when the RigPi-SDR image is expanded. The increased memory card capacity is to support the new SDR features.
I'm using a 512GB NVMe SSD on my development RigPi. This is a much faster and more reliable memory solution than an SD Card. Raspberry Pi offers this:

The Raspberry Pi cooler is a nice addition to get rid of heat in the Raspberry Pi case.

The standard Raspberry Pi case will not accommodate the cooler plus NVMe cards. This is the case I am using:

I'm pleased with the performance of this setup.

Hi all...
The upcoming release of RigPi 5 includes full integration of SDR (Software Defined Radio) features. RigPi-SDR supports up to 4 independent SDR devices so you can monitor 4 frequencies on different bands. Exciting stuff! RigPi-SDR is filled with rich features that will dramatically change the way you use RigPi.
If you already have a supported SDR device, you will be set. RigPi-SDR can use RTL-SDR, AirSpy, and SDRPlay devices with more to be added. If you don't have a device, the highly rated AirSpy HF+ is currently on sale for 20% off through July 4. See it here: https://itead.cc/
I'll be posting more details as we get closer to release.

The cultural meaning of "Meewasin" is rooted in the nêhiyawêwin (Cree) word miywâsin, which translates to "it is beautiful," "good," or "valuable". It represents a deep appreciation for the land, serving as a guiding philosophy for how humanity should interact with, respect, and sustain the natural world.
