Saskatoon's Long Range Repeater on 146.970 but soon on 146.940 mhz

This high profile site is maintained by Devon VE5DWR and Derek VE5SD.  


They are continuing the legacy of the "gift to the amateur community" that Eric VE5HG (SK) established and the Meewasin Amateur Radio Society continued for a number of years.


IRLP Node 1360 and ALLSTAR 512335 are owned and hosted by Derek VE5SD.  An experimental signal 

This high profile site is maintained by Devon VE5DWR and Derek VE5SD.  


They are continuing the legacy of the "gift to the amateur community" that Eric VE5HG (SK) established and the Meewasin Amateur Radio Society continued for a number of years.


IRLP Node 1360 and ALLSTAR 512335 are owned and hosted by Derek VE5SD.  An experimental signal to noise ratio voter will be in operation in the near future to improve in city coverage for the repeater.


The repeater system is now privately funded and developed by VE5SD with the incredible help by Devon VE5DWR who makes trips to the repeater site and provides technical expertise.

Continuing the legacy of the "gift to the amateur community" that Eric VE5HG (SK)  established and the Meewasin Amateur Radio Society continued for a number of years.   The repeater is Fusion and FM in AMS mode and has emergency back up power.


Allstar Node 512336 is owned and hosted by VE5SD and is used to link this repeater when needed.

Allstar Node 512336 is owned and hosted by VE5SD and is used to link this repeater when needed.  It is currently not linked and  is used as a low profile node in the Lakeview area and is frequency agile and acts as a back up .
